Graduated college 1975.  Indiana

Left day of graduation. Headed east 

Massachusetts 1975-77. Worked on large hog operation 

Moved to vermont. Worked on diary farms 

1980-1984. Traveled solo around the world without a dime to my name 

Ended up in France 1981-1984. Discovered cheese and cheese making. And sheep and goat farming 

Moved back to the states 1984 

Worked on diary farms again 

Met Lazors of Butterworks farm who were just becoming a legal licensed operation 

Miking 10 cows. Made yogurt 

Met Barry. Started lazy lady farm. 1987

One goat Three sheep. One acre of veggies 

No running water. No electricity. No phone. Outhouse. Made cheese in kitchen 

1987-1995. Cheese in kitchen still 

32 sheep 10 goats. Milked by hand. Still very little electricity. 

1995 10x14 cheese room off side of the house. Milked by hand. Processed milk every day. Illegal. Fought with state for a license for two years. License given 1997. Won first ACS award for my Pyramid cheese 

1997 built first cheese cave 

2000 first small solar array. 20’goats. Got a miking machine. 

2002. Borrowed money to build a stand alone cheese room. 35 gallon vat. 

2026. Sold 35 gallon vat. Went to 50 gallon vat. 28 goats. 

2007. Built second cave 

Grew to 42 goats over the next few years 

Won a couple more ACS awards. 

More solar panels put up. Wind tower 

Worked. Worked. And more work.
