Hannah Sessions

Hannah Sessions founded Blue Ledge Farm with her husband, Greg Bernhardt in 2000, and started making cheese in 2002. Blue Ledge Farm covers 150 acres in the lower Champlain Valley of Addison County, Vermont. Currently they produce 60,000 lbs of cheese annually (both raw milk and pasteurized) from the milk of their 125 dairy goats as well as from twenty Normandie cows up the road at the Hogan family farm. Home to 175 goats at any given time, they've been an Animal Welfare Approved Farm since 2015. Hannah was born and raised in Addison County where she got the farming bug from her childhood friends, many of whom grew up on farms, and from her extended family across Vermont, many of whom are dairy farmers. She and Greg have two grown children who are involved in the farm locally and from a distance.
